TAOT: Trouble on the LineNarrator: The museum people were as good as their word, Thomas' engine went at once to their workshops, where its buffer beam was straightened, and a new buffer was bolted on. On the track next to Thomas' engne, was a green engine, like the Flying Scotsman, but smaller. It's driver was overlooking the maintenance, and decided to introduce himself to Thomas and Twilight. The engine was called Green Arrow.TAOT: Trouble on the Line by GrootandHenry
Driver: "Hello, my name is Oliver Queen, and I drive that engine, the Green Arrow. My engine's classmates and it, were built to run fast goods, but they did it so well, that they were able to pull express services as well. Sadly, my engine's the only one of its kind left."
Thomas: "Sort of like my engine, It's the last of its kind."
Narrator: Oliver Queen was so friendly, that when Thomas' engine was mended, Thomas and Twilight were sorry to leave them, but back at the Great Railway Show, He was thrilled to see instead, Boxhill, an engine that was one of Stepney's engines
TAOT: Not The TicketNarrator: Thomas had to keep his engine in the siding for the rest of the day. The fire went out, and he grew colder and colder. The rain fell more heavily. And what had begun as a splendid day had became a disaster.
Thomas: "Twilight, I wish our engine was in its nice warm shed, and you and I were in the home which we share with the others, with a hot cup of tea."
Twilight: "Thomas, I know its upsetting, and quite cold. But think about it this way, we're going to get to York, eventually."
Narrator: At last, evening came and the Inspector returned.
Inspector: Cheer up Thomas, You and your engine will be at the museum tomorrow, and the Museums Workshop staff have promised to repair your engine's damaged front end."
Thomas: "Thank you sir. But if I can't drive my engine on the rails, how can I get it there?"
Inspector: "Well, it's all been fixed and arranged. Tomorrow morning, a lorry will be coming for your engine.
Narrator: Thomas was horrified!
Thomas: "A l..lorry?!"
TAOT: Museum PieceGordon: "I DON"T BELIEVE IT! What's Thomas' engine got that an important engine like mine doesn't? Tell me that, gallivanting off to museums."
Rainbow Dash: "You are quite right Gordo, our engine is much better suited for a temporary exhibit."
James: "Well, his engine is old, if the two controllers can say that it can be a museum piece, why should we worry?"
Rarity: "Not to mention, from what I've heard, he's got the only Southern Railways E2 left in existence."
Henry: "It's not fair though."
Fluttershy: "I understand your feelings Henry, but Thomas' engine was chosen for that specific reason, besides, who knows, maybe at a future Great Railway Show, another one of our friends, or even the two of us will get the chance."
Narrator: For a chance like this, Henry wouldn't have minded if his engine was a museum piece itself. The jealous drivers all ignored Thomas whenever they saw him at the junction. Thomas, on the other hand, didn't care. he was too excited.
Thomas: "Why, Twilight, my en
TAOT: Jock and the Importance of TeamworkBert: "Do you know what I think?"
Narrator: It had been quiet since the last operating season, so one evening, shortly after they had re-opened for the operating season, Bert and the others were conversing as they wiped down their engines.
Mike *cheekily*: "News to me that you could."
Bert: "Well, I suppose it would be, never having done any thinking yourself."
*Rex chuckles as he and Mike wait to hear more of what Bert has to say*
Rex: "Well, go on Bert."
Mike: "Yes, aren't you going to announce with your thoughts after all?"
Bert *pauses for dramatic effect*: "Something's going on in the Workshops."
Rex *smiles with an innocent look on his face*: "Is it Work?"
Narrator: Bert took no notice.
Bert: "I think, that the men are building something. Yesterday, when I was waiting at the platform with my 2.00 passenger train, the workshop door was open, I couldn't see much, but there was something on the floor inside. From what I could make of it, it looked like a
TAOT: Sticking PowerNarrator: The holiday season was drawing to a close, it had been a very busy year and Bert was feeling unwell. However, both Rex, and Mike were being unsympathetic.
Rex: "Poor old Bert, a shame his old engine's out of puff. No stamina in these old engines."
Mike: "What you need Bert, is some determination and sticking power."
Bert: "Pah, Sticking power be blowed, I might have known that I'd get no sympathy from you two."
*he goes to see the fitter*
Bert: "I can't get my engine to breathe properly."
Fitter: "Hmmm, sounds like your engine is in need of some new boiler tubes. Unfortunately, we can't spare you at present. Tell you what, you keep your engine going, and during the winter, we'll give it a new set. Also, keep it to yourself, but I did hear a couple of rumors about a new locomotive being built. We need one because if any of yours, Mike's or even Rex's engines failed, we'd really be in trouble."
Narrator: The fitter gave the tubes of Bert's engine a good thorough clean. T
My Little Street Ponies: Chapter 2
Dreams and Reality
The call caused Aladdin and Rainbow Dash to turn around at the edge of the rooftop they were on. They had just stolen a loaf of bread and were now being chased by the guards. Again. The captain of the guards, Razoul, angrily drew out his scimitar and pointed it at the pair as he and his guards slowly approached the two.
“I’ll have your hands for trophies, street rats!”
“All this for a loaf of bread?” Rainbow asked Aladdin before the pair jumped off the building and grabbed a couple of clotheslines.
Rainbow was lucky and caught one that was bare. Aladdin, however, wasn’t so lucky. He did grasp the clothesline, but slid down the rope, flying into different articles of clothing until he slammed into a window whose shutters were closed by an angered occupant. Rainbow Dash used the awnings and other clotheslines to reach her brother at th
